The mission of the PTA is to support and speak on behalf of children and youth in schools, in the community and before government bodies and to the organizations that make the decisions affecting children. To assist parents in developing the skills they need to raise and protect their children, and to encourage parent and public involvement in the public schools of this nation.

The PTA meets on Mondays at 7:00 p.m. in the Mountain View Elementary School Library, unless otherwise noted, to plan events and discuss new ideas. Everyone is welcome to attend.
